Profile Information

About Me:
As a self-taught artist, my creations are a response to a variety of visual stimuli, whether it is a pattern on African motif or the wonderful works of Mother Nature.

I am influenced by the spiritual world, especially representations of beliefs and customs in a variety of cultures. I also use art to respond to universal issues that affect those most vulnerable in society, whether it affects children, the elderly or those on the lower end of the socio-economic latter.

I choose the appropriate medium, whether painting, mixed media, collage, or photograpy from the “visions” which guide me in during the creative process. They serve as my tools for bringing my "visions" into reality

I am also the CEO of Authentic Contemporary Art, a fine art advisory and curatorial service based in the Washington, DC area. Visit www.authenticartonline.com for details.
Chosen Artform(s):

Peace Sister ! I just got your comment. My email is bridgitartis@yahoo.com . I will soon have this page thing together. Summer 's coming ...less focus on teaching and more on my art. I think I may be too late for the exhibit you sent me info on. If you get more bounce back hit me on the cell . I need to see what's wrong. 240 515-0057Be/Art
